Motiview

On March 6, several members of Rotary Club of Bairnsdale Sunrise attended the official launch of Motiview at Bairnsdale Parklands Care Community (BPCC).
After enjoying a delicious BBQ lunch in the gardens , cooked personally by Matt Grey (BPCC Manager), Sunrise Rotary representatives joined the residents, exploring iconic places in Rome via Motiview. Rotarians and residents alike, including 103 year-old Betty Norris had a go at cycling along the ancient city streets, while others chatted about the sights they
passed.

Rotary Sunrise has committed to funding the first year’s subscription to Motiview, a global video library that enables users to explore the world while cycling on their individual exercise bike. The subscription includes videos of local routes, so that residents can revisit childhood memories, cycling past the school they attended, or the church where they married. Motiview users report increased appetite, better sleep quality, improved mobility, fewer falls, better weight management, reduction in physical pain, and in some cases less need for medications.
