Our International Director, Sandie has organized to collect out-of-date bandages, syringes, and other consumables, and blood pressure measuring machines and other equipment no longer needed by the hospital. She and Janne Spiers take them to Donations In Kind in Footscray.  DIK regularly sends a container load of useful items to developing countries where they are greatly needed.  Pictured is Bill with the carload of goods he and Sandie collected on Wednesday.

Sandie is also organizing collections from Nagle College and Gippsland Grammar, and is looking into collecting slightly less than perfect, but laundered and still very usable, sheets and towels from the dry cleaners.

So far she has sent three full carloads of supplies to Melbourne.

A great initiative on the International front, at no cost to us or the community, and reducing waste at the same time.

GREAT EFFORT SANDIE.
